# Sley Guardrails Source Note

Sley's August 22 development checkpoint adds three bounded software-change
surfaces: a staged-change guard, a read-only tool bridge, and report-only
three-way structural comparison.

The recorded checkpoint reports 42 schemas, 128 contract fixtures, 23 accepted
corpus cases, 43 rejected corpus cases, 199 integration checks, and 23 of 23
local v1 checks. These are dated checkpoint claims, not a guarantee that every
later uncommitted worktree state is green.

The Git guard validates materialized staged content. The tool bridge is
confined to one configured Git repository and bounded by request, response,
and execution limits. Structural comparison emits a deterministic report but
does not grant merge authority.

This note does not claim universal merge safety, unrestricted tool authority,
completed historical category proof, or permission for live host, provider,
deployment, payment, or publishing actions.
