ForgeStudio: The Whole Production

We called it ForgeVideo because video was the job. Then we kept adding tools: sound design, music arrangement, mastering, comics and animation. ForgeStudio is the name for what the software became.

Each production left a tool behind

The first workflow organised briefs, scripts, storyboards, assets and review. A local renderer followed, turning recordings, images, text and supplied audio into timed scenes with captions and transitions.

Music videos pushed us toward full-song progression, distinct shots and deliberate camera work. Product demos needed animated interfaces and typography timed to a score. Documentaries needed narration, archival material and sources attached to claims. Those requirements became reusable workflows for authored web films, Blender scenes and documentary edits.

Sound needed its own workspace

The music engine joined the same product. Analysis, mastering, comparisons and stem mixing now sit alongside arrangement tools for recorded clips, authored notes and MIDI note-and-tempo interchange. Sound design adds tones, noise, envelopes, filters and effects.

An arrangement can feed a master, and that master can score a film. Picture and sound keep their editable sources. A visual revision can preserve the selected soundtrack.

Comics extended the picture tools: pages, panels, lettering and retained artwork, with image, CBZ and page-image PDF exports. Motion comics add cutouts, cel changes, camera movement and sound. SVG animation, keyframes, easing and spatial paths give those scenes movement.

ForgeStudio

Video, audio, music, animation, comics and editing now share one product. Director connects supplied materials into productions; the CLI, browser workbench and agent interface use the same project history and production services.

That breadth is why we changed the name. You can develop a score, animate a scene, edit the film and deliver the result locally. The tools keep the work connected; you supply the creative choices and final review.

Existing ForgeVideo purchases carry forward to ForgeStudio, including future releases. Earlier films and release archives remain part of its history.
